To preserve its elegance, hand wash in cold water with a gentle silk-friendly detergent, or use a machine’s silk cycle inside a protective laundry bag. Avoid wringing or twisting, and never use bleach. Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight, and iron on a low setting while slightly damp, using a pressing cloth.
