Materials & Care Information

Composition: 100% Baby Cashmere, designed in Italy

Our Good Cashmere Standard® cashmere, sourced from the Inner Mongolian Mountains, is renowned for its quality and longevity. To maintain your cashmere, avoid friction with rough surfaces to prevent pilling. Hand wash with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, soaking for 10-15 minutes, and gently pressing to clean. Rinse thoroughly and lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight. For storage, fold and place items in a sealed bag with camphor tablets, or use a cotton canvas garment bag for coats to protect against insects and moisture. Dry cleaning is also recommended. About Baby Cashmere

Baby cashmere is the rare, ultrafine underfleece gently combed from Hircus goat kids during their first natural spring moult—naturally shed, never shorn. Piazza Castello partners with herding families in the Inner Mongolian mountains to source in small batches under the Good Cashmere Standard®, prioritising animal welfare, pasture stewardship, and full traceability. The fibres are hand-sorted for consistent fineness, then spun and finished to preserve their cloud-soft handle.

You may request a complimentary exchange or refund within 7 days of receiving your order.

To return an item, please ensure it is securely packaged and accompanied by the packing slip. All returns must be processed through our Returns Centre.

Please ensure your return is dropped off (United Kingdom) or collected (International) within 7 days from the date your return request is submitted and approved. Returns made after this 7-day period, calculated from the approval date, cannot be accepted.

We accept returns on items that are new, unworn, and in original condition, with all garment tags intact. Kindly note that discounted items are non-returnable.

Once we have received and verified the returned item, we will reimburse your original purchase amount, along with any applicable return shipping costs.

What knit gauge means

Knit gauge is the number of needles per inch on the knitting machine, which sets how dense and heavy the fabric feels. Lower gauges are thicker and cosier, higher gauges are finer and smoother. Our range covers 5g for deep winter warmth, 7g for everyday weight, 12g for a refined light knit, and 16g for crisp, lightweight layering.
